When is the 2027 race?
The PAU Alsager 5 takes place on Sunday 7 February 2027 in Alsager, Cheshire, starting at 11:00 AM. The full race-day timetable will be confirmed before race day.
How do I enter?
Entries for 2027 are taken online through EntryHub.
How far is the race?
The race is five miles (approximately 8.05 km) on roads through Alsager. The established course is flat and fast. See the course page for a reference map; the final 2027 route will be confirmed.
Is the race part of a league?
Yes. The Alsager 5 is the first race of the North Staffordshire Road Runners Association (NSRRA) league, where a runner’s best 12 results from 20 races count. See nsrra.org.uk for groups, points and awards.
Is the race suitable for my first five-mile event?
The Alsager 5 welcomes experienced runners and people new to racing alike. Any 2027 entry requirements and course time limits will be published with the entry information.
Where is race HQ and where can I park?
Race HQ is Alsager Leisure Centre, Hassall Road, ST7 2HP. Parking instructions will be published before the event. Visit race-day travel information for directions.
How will I get my race number?
The 2027 number collection and any postage arrangements will be explained during registration and in the final race instructions.
What is the minimum age?
Previous editions required runners to be at least 15 on race day. Confirmed eligibility and entry conditions for 2027 will be published with registration.
Will there be medals and prizes?
Previous editions have included a finisher’s medal and overall and age-category prizes. The 2027 awards will be confirmed in the race information.
